National Education

Looking at Singapore from outside. Having a trip or a camp in the nearby region give participants a sense of how fortunately they are to be a Singaporean.

A visit to some fishing villages or mingling with students from the neighbouring countries will create an awareness of the uniqueness of Singapore, like how our way of life is so different and how Singapore succeeded against the odds.

EDU organised learning journeys to visit sites that can link with Singapore’s past – places such as the Death Railway in Thailand, Communist Fotress and Tunnels at the border of Thailand and Malaysia and the Orang Laut village in the Riau Islands are just some examples.
